As Spring continues to make her glorious appearance on the blessed day of April Fool's for those who enjoy practical jokes and shenanigans this time of year; it's most assuredly a wonderful way to kick off my 31st nameday this Friday with the spirit of the trickster in mind.
It's been a glorious year thus far meeting childhood hero's on road trips to Hollywood right after celebrating the big debut of my Burlesque Career! I never imagined that the namesake Jessica Rabbit would honestly capture who I look like as an adult but it was swoon worthy according to those who were there for my big show!
On top of that seeing Ruffio at The Comedy Store laughing hysterically at my friend's dark jokes while he annihilated the stage and left other comics questioning their sanity was icing on the 4th wall cake that my life has immersed itself within lately. Wandering outside to see comedian Marc Maron just after listening to his podcasts a few weeks before during my sick days was profound to say the least. I'm sure they still get a kick out of how my inner child truly runs the place when I see people that I greatly admire in the celebrity world.
As for birthday celebrations I'm enjoying the process of publishing my book(s) this Halloween and look forward to sending both the original copy and the extended Master's Edition of this book to the publisher's around the same time I'm celebrating both my 31st birthday and my 2nd year in full cancer remission all in the same glorious weekend. As many of you know my Dirty 30 went off with quite the naughty bang! Form stand-up, diners to strippers and booze it was one hell of a show! But this year I'm looking forward to hunkering down. Appreciating the huge milestones that life has granted me after over a decade's hard work in the realms of horror, writing, erotica and mostly fiction.
But I do confess if someone special decides to invite me to their palace in one of my favorite California cities this Spring to put the sexy spring in my red headed step. Rest assured I'll be road tripping and exhausting myself utterly the way only true libertines can appreciate in this day and golden age. *smiles*
As the world continues to wrestle with the darkest energies it has ever seen since it's dawn of time I find that moments of solitude and enjoying the peaceful life is all one could truly ever ask for. Love and lust arrive eternally when time and chemistry provide the unequivocal mix of success. Until then I enjoy being Queen of this castle and further enjoy allowing every gorgeously tall, well built and often tattooed and bearded suitor into my world to see if their truly worthy of my time, affections and most of all love. Who knew being flirtatious and confident could truly evoke desire in such a lengthy list of suitors. The fun part now is enjoying what entertainment arises alongside such travels and wanderlust explorations in life. For it's far too short not to indulge in as much as physically and energetically as possible.
But perhaps that's the part of my Gothic Blood that still belongs to Uncle George Byron. *smiles* At least that's what he says. *laughs*
In this time of rebirth, renewal and newly discovered purpose I advise one and all to throw caution to the wind now and then and to drink the wine, kiss the pretty men and women who venture into your world and smile for life is far too short to ever be dissatisfied in a world filled with pleasure of infinitum. As I continue on down this road of the great work that was initiated long before this life cycle ever got started I will always remember to celebrate what life has to offer between the storms and chaos and at this age it's finally a wonderful feeling to embrace both joy and chaos in equal measures without batting an eyelash but returning the universe's cosmic sass back with a smug and satisfying smile. Knowing that no matter what hell is unearthed in this lifetime that I will always win and I will eternally survive immortal far beyond spans of time, space or understanding for those who have yet to cross the abyss and wander back long before it consumes thee.

As the eighth great bastard grandniece of Mary Shelley; and Lord Byron; I am more than in awe of reading the linked article to see that she published her book Frankenstein exactly 200 years before I finished this very novel of erotic tales of horror. It's as if her blood still flows through these eccentric veins breathing new life into me, fueling a frenzy to follow the course that I have always envisioned since I was in my youth.
From formatting and finding artists submit dark creations into this project a midst preparing for publication to contacting creative genius friends for book trailers; and hopefully in the end to manifest book tours and horror conventions, I desire to bring this old world of horrors back into this new golden era la bohemia. For the love of Gothic romance and vicious homicidal erotica will always go well paired with a warm glass of sensual... blood.
To those who I have loved and lost and to those dear friends near and far who have flown to my hearts aid in my deepest time of need and to my gypsy tribe family. In previous years you've seen Bella BloodLust at conventions and in the buff for fine art rubenesque model lovers to indulge in near and far. In addition to adding a new set to my modeling portfolio I do admit I have a lot of sensual surprises coming to the world stage this year.
From Burlesque Debuts this Spring to traveling the country to attend to those who prefer the dark arts of whips and chains at NYC's infamous Pandora's Box, I have to admit I might not be modeling in historical iconography until sometime next year unless the god's grant me some serious cash flow but I will have plenty of sensual things to keep you enthralled until further notice.
But that isn't to say that I don't have many sets in mind just waiting to be captured by a lethal crew and talented photographers that I'm grateful to be working with and alongside since September of last year. As my sights are set on publishing my book of horrorotica this Halloween I do hope you stick around for the 3 ring circus and one woman show. I assure you my pets, I'm just getting started.

From endless projects, a nomadic disposition in life and the constant change of addresses and having little to no transportation beyond Lyft and Public Transportation many might consider me a hermit but truly, I'm just busy.
Life's swift pace is often much faster than the resources I have available to me in this ever fluctuating economy and being solely on an artists income has it's own set of challenges and financial limitations. It's not that I don't want to be out more, socializing, attending shows, events and seeing friends at festivals, it's just difficult to afford it.
I assumed by now I'd have my degree and a decent income to rely on as well as a full time job in victimology while doubling my major and pursuing more psychic detective work, but sadly the current chaotic climate of higher education has prevented me and so many others from ever obtaining a degree. Without family, friends or even strangers donating money to ensure that the additional expenses of just going to school are provided I truly even as a former Dean's List Student can no longer afford to pursue higher education in my country so as of now that additional income is also gone.
From bio-film documentaries, expanding workshops and classes to regional retreats and finishing the publication process of a collection of short horror stories and socializing with friends in Tower District for Karaoke Tuesdays and Ohh Pop Thursdays along with Art Hop I find myself quite busy pursuing and capturing my wildest dreams and to share them with so many wonderful friends and lovers too well I honestly admit life couldn't possibly get better than this, but I'm more than willing to embrace it if it want's to throw in some surprises. Like starring in commercials and being hired by local media firms to expand our horizons?! Who knew life could continue to be so damn inspiring? From photoshoots, teaching bondage and lifestyle classes, to being booked for photography and tarot parties life feels amazing and I intend on making each moment of it count.
Roadtrips, preferably by dear friends and loved ones who desire to abduct me are always on my radar, as well as many other countless and creative ways to have fun on the fly and cheap. So please reach out, know that I'm busy but always willing to make time for those who desire to share adventures of any kind with so long as it's in the old world bohemia that we all share and love.

Transforming Goals Into
"Dreams Come True"
When Life Has Other Plans:
Lets start with Goals & Dreams, Since 2008, I've been known as Psychic Bella, founding Shadows into Light Spiritual Services has truly been the real life experience needed to continue honing my psychic abilities, helping those in the valley and all over the world seek a higher quality of living and truly transforming from the inside out has given me a taste of my future.
In 2013 I even went back to school, college even and was a regular in the criminology and anthropology departments well known for being one of the very few multi-generational shamans in classes was always a treat providing additional perspective to textbooks and professors.
Unfortunately that road ended in 2016 without the dual degree promised by the institution of higher education and now I look forward to seeing what opportunities open up to illuminate my direction on my path as this one no longer can be continued without massive amounts of income generated in a ridiculously short span of time. At least I can take what I've learned thus far and apply it to the world and continued work that I fulfill for spiritual clients worldwide as Psychic-Shaman Bella.
Where the road or the winds take me as of now nobody truly knows, but I do know that I embrace what this new future holds with open arms, a open heart and courage and strength in resolve that I never could imagine truly owning fully as myself this my thirtieth year of life on this planet. This in no way changes my abilities to be a shaman and psychic detective, it just allows the universe to show me a more alternative route to continuing my work solving cold cases regardless of how much more arduous the paperwork process still is without credentials being able to put my clients at rest and to provide their families with any semblance of closure is truly what this specific path in my life is all about. As they say "Where there's a will, there's a way."
Letting Go Of Pipe Dreams to Manifest Captured Reality:
When one door opens another closes, and if the doors of perception were ultimately cleansed everything would appear to man as it is; infinite. This year has been remarkably enlightening, having the door shut on love last autumn to open the doors again to the possibilities of self love and being a hopeful romantic is honestly something I never thought would or could happen for me but the universe and perhaps me before I even arrived here in this life had other plans.
As for now my focus is growing where I'm planted and appreciating each and every flower and star seed that's come into my life this profound year in endlessly mystical ways. From the friends I met in strange places while I was homeless that have now become my wolf pack and soul tribe with endless love and support to the profound men I've met this year that have really sparked my cynical and jaded heart into believing that love really does exist on this planet the way we'd always hoped it would arrive. If anything now just taking time to heal, focus on growth and rebirth and being there during others most transformational times has been the deepest honor bestowed on this pagan shaman soul. This however doesn't prevent me from letting ideas like tiny houses and native american land granted communes from being in my future, as well as traveling worldwide as a professional house sitter, but as for now, this year at least. I think focusing on my garden entirely and enjoying all that's blossoming here and just over the fence nearby with an incredible man that has captured much more than my interest to be the core of manifesting goals and dreams into ultimate reality.

I intend on keeping my Phone/Email inquiries open from Mondays through Fridays to ensure that weekend bookings are solidified and that clients are able to make decisive actions towards the betterment of their lives, as they say Carpe Diem, this is the theme of 2016; and following up with all that has been created and destroyed is by far the theme for 2017.
The rest of the time my energy is shared between writing multiple books, maintaining my empire, planning soirees with and for the Gaslamp Society and assisting my love in our mutual dreams and business pursuits. This is why advanced planning is needed for social outings and even Shadows Into Light Spiritual Services Bookings, as the months and seasons change so does my traveling gypsy soul, and I'm truly needed out there in the big world so please join us and enjoy the ever changing and prosperous scenery. Besides these pursuits I have my enjoyable times as Writer, Model, Artist, Siren, & Performance Artist, these times are few and far in between but as time goes by and opportunity knocks I'm grateful when good health is along with me to pursue these dreams. I'll be most focused this Autumn in building my repertoire for Burlesque, it's long overdue and my soul longs to be in the spotlight once more.
As many find ways to earn additional incomes in this difficult economy, I've recently looked into professional house, pet and car sitting opening up opportunities for both a more stable life financially speaking, while also having the chance to travel the world without having to save funds for a hotel or other additional costs that come with it. So on top of all of the endless projects and jobs I already have this too is now a huge focus in life, if you want to build a savings, one must push forward in all directions.
New Business - The Grand Opening Of:

As I approached my 3 year Vegan Anniversary I found myself elated to expand my personal baking business into a legitimate side-business; for over two years now I've been perfecting and concocting the most profoundly delicious vegan desserts and have even now expanded to Gluten Free, Raw, Paleo-Vegan Friendly Desserts! After receiving serve-safe certification in food courses to ensure that I know how to conduct a healthy and food safe kitchen I found that having all of these incredible, healthy and dietary restriction friendly recipes to be too good not to share! After many compliments and encouraging words from friends, family and even complete strangers that are 1000% against desserts without dairy, eggs or animal products tell me that my baked goods are the best thing they've ever tried, I've decided to turn my top recipes list into a menu for an at-home place to order bakery prepared and shared by your's truly; Strawberry Vixen. As much as I intended to have this venture up and off the ground before Winter, unfortunately a few business related investments are needed to ensure that my decadent vegan treats are served fresh to you at the highest quality possible. So hopefully by Summers arrival a cute little pastry cart pushed by Strawberry Coquette herself will be wandering around Tower District to tease and tantalize those who crave a taste of Paris. New Spring Menu Items have just been added, why not stop by my cafe and indulge in a bit of France.
Health:
As of April 7th a day after my 29th Birthday, I received a full report and cancer remission status for Cushing's Syndrome. A brain tumor that tried to kill me but lost it's battle to the wonderful world of holistic medicine known as medical marijuana. If it wasn't for stumbling upon my twin flame and trusting that his dedication to medicine was true I honestly wouldn't be here writing this right now, I was given a 6 month prognosis for living and was preparing my funeral at the tender age of 23. I'm astounded to say not only has my tumor gone completely into remission, but my immune system is better than it was before cancer and so is the rest of my health that was just finalized and cleared by every single one of my follow-up cancer specialists. So basically I'm like a bombshell version of deadpool, watch out world it's going to get crazy fun from here.

As I approached my 3 year Vegan Anniversary I found myself elated to expand my personal baking business into a legitimate side-business; for over two years now I've been perfecting and concocting the most profoundly delicious vegan desserts and have even now expanded to Gluten Free, Raw, Paleo-Vegan Friendly Desserts! After receiving serve-safe certification in food courses to ensure that I know how to conduct a healthy and food safe kitchen I found that having all of these incredible, healthy and dietary restriction friendly recipes to be too good not to share! After many compliments and encouraging words from friends, family and even complete strangers that are 1000% against desserts without dairy, eggs or animal products tell me that my baked goods are the best thing they've ever tried, I've decided to turn my top recipes list into a menu for an at-home place to order bakery prepared and shared by your's truly; Strawberry Vixen. As much as I intended to have this venture up and off the ground before Winter, unfortunately a few business related investments are needed to ensure that my decadent vegan treats are served fresh to you at the highest quality possible. So hopefully by Summers arrival a cute little pastry cart pushed by Strawberry Coquette herself will be wandering around Tower District to tease and tantalize those who crave a taste of Paris. New Spring Menu Items have just been added, why not stop by my cafe and indulge in a bit of France.
Health:
As of April 7th a day after my 29th Birthday, I received a full report and cancer remission status for Cushing's Syndrome. A brain tumor that tried to kill me but lost it's battle to the wonderful world of holistic medicine known as medical marijuana. If it wasn't for stumbling upon my twin flame and trusting that his dedication to medicine was true I honestly wouldn't be here writing this right now, I was given a 6 month prognosis for living and was preparing my funeral at the tender age of 23. I'm astounded to say not only has my tumor gone completely into remission, but my immune system is better than it was before cancer and so is the rest of my health that was just finalized and cleared by every single one of my follow-up cancer specialists. So basically I'm like a bombshell version of deadpool, watch out world it's going to get crazy fun from here.

From transforming journals and sketch pads into the foundations of my novel, while editing and constructing another that's soon to be released for erotic horror readers to enjoy, to finishing the final touches on BellaBloodLust HQ to ensuring a place to work, create, brainstorm and vision board can take place to turn dreams into legacy and living breathing reality.
I celebrate The Rubenesque Revolution, and relish in the progress, projects and creative pursuits that have taken place successfully thus far while further fires burn in the hearth of my sensual and spiritual home to brew and simmer over the golden months of late spring, carnal scarlet summer and dark and sumptuous autumn. In the midst of creative stirrings as the dawning of a new age and new year arrive here in this world and my very own home I frolic and feast to the fullest embracing life in all its horror and divinity.
