Mortals and Immortals alike writhe in Ecstasy...
The whispers are True! Prince Lestat is Back!
Before I could brush the dreamworld away I found myself immersed in a maddened state searching for Anne Rice's website, hoping that it wasn't just a rumor, that in fact my dark dream had come true, and when I visited Anne Rice Official HQ that morning, I woke the entire house with 17th century vampire ecstasy, screaming as if The Queen of England herself or my dearly departed Aristocratic Ancestors Lord Byron and Mary Shelly had manifested before my very eyes, my loving Twin Flame, ran into the living room half asleep and a bit shaken inquired about my quite unusual reaction as to exactly what was going on.
"She's brought him back! She actually did it! I never in all of my wildest dreams thought this day would happen, she even responded to my fan letter, explaining in detail why! But He's Back! Lestat is back! I can't even express how much this means to me!" in laughs and smiles he embraced me closely and doted upon my joy for a character and true egregore that exists from the brilliant soul and mind of Anne Rice, the one and only Prince Lestat!
Since then I've been quite the fangirl, updating my love on every aspect of what she's up too, what is happening next with Prince Lestat and as the months have gone by this year since the formal announcement, and as I just put the entire collection of The Vampire Chronicles on my new bookshelf as we've just moved into our new home together, I was speechless and overjoyed to know that I'd soon be making room for a dear and sorely missed friend on the roads of dark ascension and true transformation of soul and mind, and as the day comes when her book arrives on my door and I start reading furiously in a maddened pace, but of course slowing down to savor every moment of dear beloved Lestat, I find myself celebrating Halloween in much more Pomp and Circumstance that ever before imagined. Prince Lestat returns October 28th, 2014.

Anne Rice's Response to my Fan Letter...
I have been a reader of yours for years and originally fell in love with your amazing characters at the tender age of 5 when Interview with the Vampire was a movie I had watched it at a young age, probably a bit inappropriate for a young child but even at that age I knew that the characters you created and the magic that is in every one of The Vampire Chronicles is something I cannot bare to lose. I've been reading your books since my early teens and they've literally kept sane when my life during those years were not very stable. I'm currently reading Blackwood Farm and it is almost over I find myself mournful knowing for quite some time that the end of your Vampire Novels are coming to an end, I even resented your choice in the beginning and bitterly put Blackwood Farm on my bookshelf to collect dust so that in some way the journey would not be over. I have finally accepted your choice to steer your writings in a very different direction. I've recently dusted it off and pulled out Tarquin and the rest of the Blackwood family and have once again been hypnotized and completely engulfed in the world that you've weaved so many years ago. Although I mourn the loss of the many beautiful creatures that you've created I also thank you from the bottom of my heart for writing these stories as they have given me something to escape to when I could not escape the troubles of my youth. I have yet to start the Mayfair novels and Blackwood Farm has seduced me quite well to The Mayfair Family, I look forward to reading those just as much as I look forward to reading the last in The Vampire Chronicles, as well as The Beauty Series which I've heard so much about. I can't say that I'm ready to leave the world you so beautifully weaved of darkness and lust and it may take me awhile to read your future works as they don't agree with my spiritual path and I do thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your beautiful world with us. Even though he was a small role I believe that I relate mostly to Magnus, his eccentricities and solitary personality match mine very well and even though he was a small character I will miss him as much as I will miss Lestat and the plethora of vampires that I've had a love affair with my entire life.
I am now the tender age of twenty one and will always be grateful for everything you have ever written you literally saved my life and I am eternally grateful and although I may not agree with everything that you do I will always support it.
In Love and Light,
Thank you for your passionate and detailed letter, and for expressing such warmth for the Vampire Chronicles. As I returned to my church, as I committed my work to Christ, it became impossible for me to re-inhabit the old vampire characters in any honest way. As my atheist cracked and fell apart, I found that I had exhausted the metaphorical frame work of my "darker" books. I had said all I had to say about being lost, about being an outcast, about seeking meaning in a "godless" world. I moved steadily into a realm of faith and it became apparent to me that I had to dedicate my work to Christ. That does not mean that the path has been a dull one. Not by any means. I am reborn as a new kind of writer. In addition to Christ the Lord books, I have always written two volumes in a new metaphysical thriller series called Songs of the Seraphim, about the workings of angels on earth with people. And though these are thoroughly Christian, I find a good deal there to exercise my imagination and my love of historical settings. There are many other Christian books I want to write. I hope you will look into these as time goes on. I hope you enjoy the Mayfair books. They are dark but filled with light too. Take care and thank you for your letter.
